Meet The Crew

Cassandra Dickerson is President and Founder of Little Warrior Princesses. She works as the Marketing Assistant for the Bott Radio Network. In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys singing and has performed the National Anthem for local events such as the Royals, T-Bones, The American Royal, Memorial Day Celebration at the WWI Museum and the annual March of Dimes, March for Babies Walk in Kansas City, MO, among other venues. She also regularly sings at her local church, Indian Creek Community Church located in Olathe KS. Cassandra and her husband Brandon have been married for 10 years and together have twins: Ava, 5; and Olivia, 5.

Gina Infranca and her husband Tony experienced firsthand the heartbreaking stress of having babies in the NICU. Their twin girls, Carrington and Skye, were born at 32 weeks, and spent 49 days in the NICU before being able to join big brothers Phillip, Damian, and Logan at home. In the Spring of 2015, Gina began volunteering for LWP as our Volunteer Coordinator but now sits on the board. 

Cari Seahorn is our Founder's sister and Godmother to Cassandra’s twin girls who refer to her affectionately as their 'Auntie Mommy'. Cari witnessed Cassandra's NICU journey firsthand and it profoundly impacted her. Once her nieces were discharged from the hospital, she regularly helped take care of them. Cari has her RN from KCKCC and has worked in Children's ministry for many years at several Kansas City Metro area churches. She is currently working in the Children's ministry at 1C22 Church and All Nations Breakthrough Church.  Cari has been a long-time volunteer with inner city children and at Rachel's Tea House, a non-profit maternity community outreach program that empowers and equips teens and unwed moms to become productive citizens. Cari has been volunteering her time and resources to LWP, since it launched and currently sits on the board.

 

Robin Wahrenbrock serves as Secretary and board member for Little Warrior Princesses. She has a Bachelors in Fashion Design from Missouri State University and a Masters in Education from the University of Central Missouri. Robin has over 12 years experience, teaching high school art. Robin and her husband Todd have been married 13 years and have boy/girl twins that were born at 24 weeks in 2012. Their daughter, Circe, came home after 90 days in the NICU. Their son, Melvan a.k.a. "Van", came home after 7 long months in the NICU. Robin's hobbies include art, photography, sewing, crafts, dancing, and visiting as many festivals and events as she can cram into her busy schedule.

Vanessa Scarbrough is the Events Coordinator for LWP and currently sits on the board. Vanessa works as a Marketing Specialist with the Clemons Home Team for Reece Nichols. She is also the Event Coordinator for Stockyards Brewing Company. Vanessa was blessed with identical twins, Sophia and Olivia, who were born at 37.5 weeks. Olivia had a short 24 hour stay in the NICU due to a high red blood cell count that required necessary bilirubin light therapy. The girls are now beautiful, smart and sassy 5 year olds. Vanessa was introduced to Little Warrior Princesses through her former career and knew she had to be involved. After hearing Cassandra’s story and the stories of other NICU families, she knew she wanted to help. 

Heather Coelho is the Administrative Assistant for Little Warrior Princesses.  She has been married to her best friend, Sergio, for 13 years. Together they have 9 year old Gia. After a difficult road to getting pregnant, Gia was born at 36 weeks. Gia's NICU stay was 9 days in total, and from that experience, Heather knew she wanted to help families who experience NICU time.

Kennetha Gatlin is a proud Kansas City native. She grew up north of the river and currently reside in Mission, KS. She has two amazing, energetic, and goofy boys: CJ, 10; and Joshua, 8. Kennetha recently began operating her own virtual administrative business from home, and is currently pursing a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Since high school, giving back to the community and volunteering has always been important to Kennetha. She currently serves as out Assistant Events Cooridator. 

Kathryn Mauck was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas but moved to Kansas City after graduating from Wichita State University, with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Will, have been married 4 years and this past September she gave birth to the beautiful, Ally Jo. Kathryn has always desired to give back in a big way which is why she decided to become LWP's volunteer Social Media Coordinator.

Emily Eaton joined LWP in May of 2016 and currently sits on the board. She is a stay at home mom who enjoys traveling, music, shopping, sports and family time. Emily has been married to Jacob for 9 years and has 3 children: Danika, 8; Knox, 4; and Beckett, 3. Emily is passionate about NICU families because Danika was born at 33 weeks. She's also passionate about adoption, as both of her boys were adopted. 

Kayla Ray is a stay at home mom who loves makeup, cooking, the KC Royals, music, carpool karaoke, and trying out new restaurants in the area. She has been married to her soulmate Tyler for 5 years and has two children: Landon, 2; and Lexi, 1. Landon was born at 36 weeks due to preeclampsia and spent 10 days in the NICU. Kayla has always had a soft spot in her heart for NICU babies and families and knew she wanted to do something to help, which is why she decided to become LWP's Volunteer Coordinator.
